27th of October Uprising!

Here is one of the activities appears on October 27 (Haider)

during the escalation,Where the security forces are trying to push the demonstrators away from the green zone (The government fort) by brutal means,

tear gas and gunfire…etc But the protesters stuck in Tahrir Square in Baghdad.

– Also we’d like to tell you about this period from 25 to 27

– 6000–8000 demonstrators were present in the square (300–500 women; 500–600 minors).

– 300–500 the number of security forces present in the square, equipped with automatic machine-guns, tear gas canisters and sound bombs; 2 police vehicles with water cannons and some armored vehicles.

Protestors were throwing small rocks.

10-25 people were arrested.

1000 people were injured (mainly as they were hit by sound bomb fragments or suffered asphyxiation after inhaling gas).

100 people died during this timeframe (due to fire-gun injuries, sound bomb fragments, excessive inhalation of tear gas or tear gas grenades shattering the human skull).

All this was happened in two days,
