The Parliamentary Security Committee said in a statement today (January 21, 2021) that “the Bab Al-Sharqi explosion was made by dormant terrorist cells or political agendas, and we warn of new explosions.”

Meanwhile, the Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Kazem Borhan, announced that the death toll from the twin bombing in Tayaran Square in Baghdad has risen to 28 dead and 73 injured.
